Anyone who travels through Chicago's O'Hare Airport frequently, knows there are many ground transportation options: city cabs, suburban cabs, limousine services, and hotel shuttle busses running throughout the day. With city cabs charging a premium to take you to the suburbs, and no hotel provided shuttles to Schaumburg, the trick is to pick the right option in order to get the best rate. We want to help you through that process, so here are a few tips.
Travel from O'Hare International Airport
After you have claimed all your luggage ...
- For Taxi Service contact American Taxi at 847-255-9614 (press 1 then #) and use Preferred Customer American Hardware for their best flat rate of $33.00 one-way, not including gratuity. Attached is a coupon for $3.00 the fare. Print 2 before you leave, if you're not going to take the conference return transportaion.
Travel to O'Hare International Airport
- For your convenience, AHMA has arranged for transportation to O'Hare after the conference. This service will be available for pre-purchase at a rate of $25.00 one-way with departures at noon, 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm, and 1:30 pm from the Hotel Lobby. You can reserve your space and time when you register for the conference.
- Recommended pick-up time is at least 2 to 2.5 hours before departure time for domestic flights (being mindful of Chicago traffic)
- Recommended pick-up time is at least 3 to 3.5 hours before departure time for international flights (being mindful of Chicago traffic)
