Home Improvement Industry Stocks Down 15
The Hard Fax Composite of home improvement
industry stocks fell 15 points in the latest week of trading to end at 1283, down
from 1298 the prior week, and is currently up 13 percent on the year. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 213
points for the week, ending at 12767, or plus four percent on the year.
Last week the market basket of 28
industry-related stocks was mixed with 13 decliners versus 15 gainers.
Once again
this week, the U.S. stock market seems to be at the mercy of economic developments
in Europe. The latest good news of a
pro-EU election result in Greece was offset by rising bond rates in Spain.
