Robert Bosch Recalling Miter Saws

[Friday, July 06, 2012]  The Robert Bosch Tool Corporation has announced that the company, in cooperation with the Canadian Electrical Safety Authority, is issuing a recall in Canada of 618 SKIL Brand Miter Saws Model 3316-01 and 3316-02 manufactured with date codes 111, 112, 201, 202, 203 and 204. The recall is being issued because the lower guard hub can break, allowing the lower guard to contact the blade during use. No injuries or damages have been reported to date.

A recall of the same models will take place in the U.S., with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission expected to announce the action on July 10. Read More ...
