Builders FirstSource Q3 Sales +34%

[Friday, October 19, 2012]  Builders FirstSource reports sales for the third quarter of 2012 were $291.8 million, an increase of 34.3 percent when compared to the third quarter of 2011. Net loss for the third quarter of 2012 was $13.6 million, or $0.14 loss per diluted share, compared to net loss of $11.6 million, or $0.12 loss per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2011.

Builders FirstSource Chief Executive Officer Floyd Sherman said: . "For the second consecutive quarter, we reported positive Adjusted EBITDA, finishing with $3.0 million for the current quarter as compared to an Adjusted EBITDA loss of $0.7 million in the third quarter of 2011, and on a year-to-date basis, our Adjusted EBITDA has improved from a loss of $11.7 million in 2011 to positive $3.0 million in 2012."
